What made Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s Christmas so sweet? Maybe it was the treats.
The royal children emerged form their first Christmas church service Sunday with candy canes in one hand, and their parents Will and Kate’s in their others. While George, 3, immediately unwrapped and enjoyed his sweet, Charlotte, 2, had different plans for her snack: digging it into the ground.
The family was at St Mark’s church in Englefield to celebrate the holiday with the Middleton family. Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael, and siblings, Pippa and James, were there. Pippa also brought her fiancé, James Matthews.
Meanwhile, William’s family was attending church in Sandringham. Prince Charles, Camila and Prince Harry attended, too, but Queen Elizabeth II, while there, stayed away from the service, because she “continues to recover from a heavy cold,” according to the palace.
